The curricula and material for this level will vary widely depending on the student. Generally we will be following a method book series which suits the interests of the student which may be any of those interest under the beginner sections by age. If the student is classically-minded, we generally pick selections of graded repertoire from the Royal Conservatory or Keith Snell series.

In addition to a leveled series, I will work with students to choose supplemental selections from any genre of their choosing. During lessons we will also discuss theory and historical content, develop ear training and sight reading, and compose as well as improvise and arrange. Below are some student projects:
