For this recital, I wanted to do something I have always wanted to do but hadn't done before - have students perform songs they wrote themselves! Each piece submitted for this recital is an original work that the student composed themselves. Each one of my students ended up writing a song, though not all were able to submit a video of them performing it. I am uploading all of the compositions below as well as a link to the playist of those who were able to submit a video of them performing them. So proud of all my creative composers!

For the end of the year recital we've done both Halloween and Christmas theme but never Thanksgiving, so I decided that this was the year! Each student chose one thing they are thankful for and then chose a song related to that theme. The thumbnail for each video has the student holding a sign with what they are thankful for. ​❤️
